4 Ayurvedic Herbs to Boost Your Libido

As the birth place of Tantra, the Kama Sutra, and temple dancers, Ancient India knew how to keep it spicy in the bedroom. Ayurvedic medicine is the KING of rejuvenation therapies especially when it comes to caring for the body when you want to increase s3x drive, have more satisfying s3x, and keep yourself healthy after.

Something not talked about in the West is the WHY of low libido. From an Ayurvedic standpoint, this relates to the state of your underlying health, and is also why any good s3xual rejuvenative herb is working on many levels to restore health and vitality. All of the herbs listed below have a multitude of benefits, and all are used in our Lust Desire & Libido enhancer, but all are fantastic on their own as well.

1)Ashwaganda- Withania somnifera This is the most famous herb of Ayurveda next to Turmeric, and with good reason. It’s strengthening, nervine, and great for people who have low energy of debility. And it’s FABULOUS for boosting s3x drive. Secret use- Ashwagandha is GREAT to use after s3x to replenish the tissues that have been depleted. SImply add ½ tsp to 4 oz of organic milk of your choice.

2)Gokshura- Tribulus terrestris Gokshura is commonly called Horny Goat Weed, and is traditionally to support sexual health, prostate health, the urinary tract, and kidneys.

It’s a wonderful and safe herb, and similar to Ashwagandha, has strengthening properties. It is thought to support testosterone levels naturally and is often used in cases where there is erectile dysfunction

3)\Shatavari Asparagus racemosus Translated as “She who has 100 husbands”, this herb is traditionally used for women’s reproductive health issues but is also great for men. If you are a woman suffering from low libido, low energy, and strong PMS symptoms, this herb might be for you! Be careful with this herb if you suffer from candida as it may exacerbate that. The best way to take this is with milk and a little sugar (natural, of course!)

4) Anantamul- Hemidesmus indicus Commonly called Indian Sarsparilla, this is my FAVORITE herb of all time! This has to be the most underrated and best kept secret of Ayurvedic herbs. My teacher described this wonder herb as a “more potent and intelligent Shatavari”.  This is great for those with low energy or who have low sex drive, and is especially good for women with PMS or even PMDD. I love it because it is great for calming down Pitta, which in excess can cause you to “burn out”. Not to mention it’s really delicious (seriously!). If you want to use it on its own, I recommend boiling ½ teaspoon in 20 oz of water and enjoying it as a tea!

There you have it! I hope you enjoy, and it you are looking to boost your sex drive naturallyl for more enjoyment, fun, and pleasure in the bedroom, be sure to try Lust today :) And as a special bonus for reading this far, use code “SMARTANDSEXY” for 10% off your first order!
